In compliance with the Scaffold & Access Industry Association’s training and education standards, Tri-City Scaffold is an Accredited Training Institute administering training and education to advance Hazard Awareness and Competent Person proficiency. The classes are conducted by veteran scaffolding professionals with over 20 years of industry experience. Classes are taught to students from a diverse background ranging from a workforce refreshing their knowledge and skills to participants maintaining their certifications relevant to job requirements.
Courses for hazard awareness and accident preventions cover supported scaffold systems. Areas of focus include: basic fall arrest, falling objects, electrocution, unsafe access and scaffold collapse.
Competent person training for supported scaffold cover: safety aspects regarding suspended and supported scaffolds, scaffold components, regulations, guardrail requirements, and erection and dismantling procedures.
Participants who pass the Competent Person written exam and display competence building will receive a certificate of completion and wallet card from the SAIA Training Program certifying completion of Competent Person Training in either Frame or System Scaffolds.
